Our Programs text

Interested in volunteering? Here are ways you can help!

  • Assist teachers in classroom on projects, reading (summer program)
  • Tutor a student (summer program and/or school year)
  • Help a student learn how to swim (Horizons' Swim Coordinator directs volunteers: summer program/afternoons: Monday-Thursday)
  • Share one of your skills/hobbies/interests with students (summer program)
  • Organize a community service project with students (flexible times)
  • Invite Horizons students to visit your company/organization & learn about your profession (flexible times)
  • Be one of the "Go-To" Volunteers (for special requests: mailings, events)
  • Provide administrative support to staff (flexible times)
