Our Goals

Differential rates of summer learning are almost entirely responsible for the widening of the achievement gap between economically advantaged and disadvantaged youth after they have entered school This disturbing trend can be effectively lessened, by offering low-income students not only reading and math lessons, but by giving these students the opportunity they often lack to participate in organized athletics and enrichment activities.
